About Us
Help us preserve the West Shore of the Flathead Lake.
The Upper West Shore Alliance is a Montana nonprofit corporation located along the upper west shore of Flathead Lake in Montana. We have a volunteer board with residents from both Lake County and Flathead County due to the unique location of the upper west shore of Flathead Lake.
Our purpose is to help direct growth in the Upper West Shore area to maintain the rural character of the area, and support growth that protects and enhances property values and amenities, and protects and enhances the natural environment, water quality and wildlife.

Our current projects include working with the Women of Rollins, Friends of the Dayton School, MCA Legislation Revision Submission, and the Preserve Lakeside / 93 Highway Corridor.

Item F Consideration of Lakeshore Variance Permit: Flathead Lake Land Partners #FLV-25-09
This is in regards to the Discovery Land Lakeside Dock located at 688 Lakeside BLVD.
It is our understanding that this is a private dock for members of Discovery Land. However, the description of the variance is for a proposed public marina that extends 159 feet from the shoreline vs 100 feet allowable.
